Transjakarta's Head of Public Relations and CSR, Ayu Wardhani, said the initial implementation showed high customer interest and increased satisfaction, especially in terms of seating certainty.
She added that reservations for departures starting April 15, 2026, can be made starting April 8, 2026.
"Through the TJ:Transjakarta application, customers can make ticket reservations up to 7 days before departure starting at 12 PM, thus enabling more mature travel planning and ensuring the availability of seats according to their needs," she said, Thursday (4/9).
Ayu explained that the implementation of this seat booking system offers various benefits, including guaranteed seating, reduced waiting and queue times, and a more orderly and measured journey. Furthermore, customers can access real-time information regarding schedules, boarding and disembarkation points, and seat availability.
"Transjakarta will continue to develop digital-based services that are adaptive and oriented towards customer experience," she explained.
In its implementation, Transjakarta has established several service provisions, including personal tickets valid for the selected schedule, early arrival for check-in, and cancellation and refund policies. Complete information can be accessed through the TJ:Transjakarta app.
